Works with any camera in manual mode

Mirrorless, DSLR, or a phone with manual controls. We speak in ISO, aperture, shutter speed, and white balance, not brand-specific menus.

Calculates real exposure math, not vibes

Every recommendation is grounded in the actual exposure triangle for your scene's light, not a guess dressed up in confident language.

Built for the field

Describe a scene in seconds, whether from a trailhead, a sideline, or a low-light reception hall, and get settings back before you've missed the shot.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. PhotoWhisperer gives you settings in standard terms (ISO, aperture, shutter speed, white balance) that apply to any camera that shoots in manual mode, mirrorless, DSLR, or otherwise. We don't connect to your camera directly; you read the values and dial them in yourself.

There's no fixed number, it depends on how dark the scene is and how much motion you can tolerate. Describe what you're shooting, a dim reception hall, a city street, a candlelit table, and we calculate the ISO alongside aperture and shutter speed for that specific light instead of handing you a generic low-light preset.

Yes. Describe the scene in plain language and we handle the exposure math behind the scenes. You don't need to know stops, the exposure triangle, or any of the underlying calculations to start shooting in manual mode.

One setting is one scene description you submit that returns one set of camera values. Each request counts once toward your monthly limit, whether or not you end up using the result.

Yes. Cancel your subscription anytime from your billing page. You'll keep access through the end of your current billing period, no penalties, no retention calls.

Your scene descriptions and the settings we return are stored so you can revisit your history. You control how much of that history you keep. Stripe handles payments, Supabase stores your account data, and Anthropic processes the scene description itself to generate your settings. We don't share any of it for model training.

No. Your monthly settings reset on the 1st of the month UTC and unused ones do not roll over. Extra credits you purchase work differently: they roll over and never expire.
